Lysaght promotes Lean Thinking

Lysaght is delighted to announce that David Booth and Richard Stilwell have both attained Green Belt Certification with the International Lean Six Sigma Institute, upon completion of Jersey Business' "Business Improvement Programme", in association with Accelerate.  This course teaches Lean Six Sigma methodology, mindset and tools to help critically assess, review and improve business processes in order to improve efficiencies and reduce “waste” in everything we do, and we are excited to apply its teachings to our endeavours moving forward.  We at Lysaght are dedicated to ensuring we continually iterate our offering so that we consistently deliver top-tier service to our clients, and this achievement is firmly-aligned with this view.

David Booth

David joined Lysaght in 1997, fresh out of school after the completion of his A-Levels. He was keen to work for a company where he could use his French and German language skills and Lysaght, with its global reach, was the perfect fit.

As Head of our IT and Systems team, David is responsible for the company’s entire IT equipment and systems, as well as the development of our in-house database and information systems.  He holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.

His IT and systems experience is fully-aligned with the firm’s core IP operations, having served a number of years during his initial tenure as an Administrator in our Trade Marks department, with a portfolio including various Caribbean and English-speaking African jurisdictions.

David became a director of the company in 2018. With his length of service and broad range of disciplines, he plays a key role in setting and challenging the overall direction and strategy of the business.
