Tim is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and manager in the Trade Marks department. He is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the department, and offers free advice clinics to members of the public as well as sitting on the INTA Trademark Office Practices Committee.
David joined Lysaght in 1997, fresh out of school after the completion of his A-Levels. He was keen to work for a company where he could use his French and German language skills and Lysaght, with its global reach, was the perfect fit.
As Head of our IT and Systems team, David is responsible for the company’s entire IT equipment and systems, as well as the development of our in-house database and information systems. He holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.
His IT and systems experience is fully-aligned with the firm’s core IP operations, having served a number of years during his initial tenure as an Administrator in our Trade Marks department, with a portfolio including various Caribbean and English-speaking African jurisdictions.
David became a director of the company in 2018. With his length of service and broad range of disciplines, he plays a key role in setting and challenging the overall direction and strategy of the business.
