Lysaght is an established intellectual property (“IP”) registration law firm specialising in the formalities required for registering, maintaining and renewing trade marks, patents and designs.
After almost 80 years in this industry, we have the specialist skills, expertise and worldwide relationships to offer our clients a first-class service.
Whilst our company is based in Jersey, we offer an international reach. Much of our work is focused in Africa and the Caribbean, and we have well-established links and connections in more than 200 countries around the world.
The other regions we work in are Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, the Far East, Australasia and the Pacific Islands. Depending on the country’s legislation and regulations around IP registration, we work with local agents or we have direct links with local registries.

We are an independently owned private company and this allows us to make decisions quickly. The directors have all worked for the company for many years and have grown the business into what it is today. Whilst we are a small firm, we work with well known multi-national companies all over the world and we have held some of these relationships for many decades.
