Renewal

For marks registered on or after 6th August 2003, the renewal term is 10 years from the filing date and every 10 years thereafter.

Use Provisions

If the trade mark has not been used within 3 years from its date of registration or at least 3 consecutive years, it may be subject to cancellation. Subsequent use of the mark can restore protection, if no party in the interim has requested cancellation.
