Lysaght celebrates promotion at Ekeme Lysaght SARL

Isabelle Ekeme

It is with great pride that we announce the promotion of Isabelle Mbomè from Ekémé Lysaght SARL to the prestigious role of Avocate Stagiaire of the Cameroon Bar Association.  Once Isabelle has completed her apprenticeship, she will have unique rights of audience to represent our clients in Court.  This fantastic and well-deserved accolade will further bolster the range of services in OAPI which Lysaght can offer to our clients, particularly in the in-house management of contentious matters.

Ekémé Lysaght was founded in 1978 by Isabelle’s mother, Madame Jacqueline Ekémé, and their exclusive partnership with Lysaght enables us to benefit from direct access to the OAPI Registry for the registration, renewal and recordal of IP matters there.   The personnel in our Cameroon office, led by Isabelle, have a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as close contacts with OAPI officials, which enable us to achieve results in a timely, accurate and professional manner.  We hold regular meetings with Isabelle and her colleagues in the Cameroon to keep abreast of any proposed legal developments, fee changes or practice directives which might affect the manner in which IP is handled at OAPI.  In this way, we are able to keep ourselves at the forefront of any such developments and we can ensure that we are closely apprised of (and influential in) any such decisions made by OAPI.

We, in conjunction with Isabelle and her team, would be pleased to assist you with all of your IP matters in OAPI.
