2024 AIPPI World Congress
Richard Stilwell recently represented Lysaght at AIPPI’s World Congress event in Hangzhou, marking the first time an international IP conference has been held in China.

It is with great pride that we announce the promotion of Isabelle Mbomè from Ekémé Lysaght SARL to the prestigious role of Avocate Stagiaire of the Cameroon Bar Association. Once Isabelle has completed her apprenticeship, she will have the unique rights of audience to represent our clients in Court. This fantastic and well-deserved accolade will further bolster the range of OAPI services which Lysaght can offer to our clients, particularly in the in-house management of contentious matters.
In The Spotlight: Rita Henderson
Many of you will recognise Rita’s name as our long-standing and greatly experienced Trade Mark Renewals Manager, and some of you may even have met her in person or in a virtual call in years gone by. Rita joined Lysaght way back in 1980 and is one of our longest serving team members.

Retirement of Martin Chinnery
Our Senior Trade Mark attorney, Martin Chinnery, will shortly be retiring. Whilst this is sad news for all of us here at Lysaght, it marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Martin.

INTA Annual Meeting – Singapore, May 2023
The 2023 INTA Annual Meeting is taking place in Singapore from 16-20 May, and Lysaght will be represented by Tim Noel and Richard Stilwell. CITMA Conference – London, March 2023
At the recently held Spring Conference of CITMA (Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys) held in London, Lysaght was represented by Tim Noel. Tim was delighted to see many of our clients at the event, and was able to hold several in-person meetings and conversations with some of them.
Lysaght goes green
Following COP26, there is a revived momentum and moral obligation to do more to help our planet, both individually and collectively. Here at Lysaght, it is no different, and we want to do our part. Our Jersey office went paperless earlier this year, and we are currently auditing our energy usage in the workplace.
PTMG Spring Conference 2021
One of our Chartered Trade Mark Attorneys, Richard Stilwell, attended PTMG’s Spring Conference last week on behalf of Lysaght. Aptly named “PTMG@home”, this conference was hosted online due to current restrictions on gatherings and international travel.
